How does Termidor® SC work?
Termites can’t avoid what they can’t detect. Termidor® SC is a non-repellent liquid solution, meaning it is “undetectable.” Termites cannot see, smell, or taste it — and therefore, they cannot avoid it.
Instead, they come into contact with, ingest, and share Termidor® without realizing that by doing so, they are inevitably being eliminated.
Termidor® eliminates termites in different ways.
When termites ingest material treated with Termidor®, they die — but Termidor® doesn’t stop there.
It also kills termites through contact. Because termites cannot detect its presence, they ingest and come into contact with Termidor® as they go about their normal routines.
This dual action already sets Termidor® apart from many other termite control products. But its unique “Transfer Effect™” takes its effectiveness to an entirely new level.
The Termidor® “Transfer Effect™”
Whenever a termite ingests or touches Termidor®, it becomes a “carrier,” transferring Termidor® to other termites it contacts. These termites, in turn, can become secondary carriers, continuing their normal activities while spreading Termidor® to others within the colony.
Because Termidor® acts slowly, termites have plenty of time to pass it along to many others.
